A Survey of Field-based Testing Techniques

Field testing refers to techniques that operate in the field reveal those faults escape in-house testing. are becoming increasingly popular with growing complexity of contemporary software systems. In this article, we present first systematic survey approaches over a body 80 collected studies, and propose their categorization based on environment system which is performed. We discuss four research questions addressing how tested field, what requirements , tests managed identify many challenging directions.
